a design blog based in canada (Now NYC!)- it has a social awarness undercurrent which never sets your teeth on edge... thoughtful dialogue with good links and day to day news - compare with the above!
more than a blog - a collective of designers, artists and general mischief makers - candy chang's work is a particular highlight of the site.

online journal - all things net culture - very good special issue on music/net (but not sound!). High quality articles which are well edited with clear navigation and layout.
